美國某小鎮(zhèn)，有一條通往哈特利小學(xué)的叢林捷徑，但自從上世紀(jì)40年代之后，就很少有人通過這里。鎮(zhèn)上的人傳言林中有一個(gè)兇惡變態(tài)的老頭，許多起失蹤案都和他有關(guān)。這條路儼然成為小鎮(zhèn)上的禁區(qū)，而世代居住這里的哈特利家族則成為最大嫌疑人。
